By accessing and using VerBook ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VerBook is a social reading platform that connects readers and authors. The Service includes:

• Digital book reading and purchasing
• Publishing tools for authors
• Social features including book clubs and reviews
• AI-powered reading assistance tools

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account through AIVerID. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Content and Copyright

Authors retain full ownership of their content. By publishing on VerBook, authors grant VerBook a non-exclusive license to distribute their content through the platform. Readers may not copy, distribute, or modify content without authorization.

5. Payments and Refunds

Purchases are processed through VerPay. Our smart refund policy allows proportional refunds based on content consumed. Authors receive payments according to their chosen commission rate (0-10% to VerBook).

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

• Upload copyrighted content without authorization
• Share, copy, or distribute purchased content illegally
• Use automated systems to access the Service
• Harass or abuse other users
• Attempt to circumvent security measures

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through Settings.
